On March 27, students from Lyceums No. 1 and No. 3 of Kupiansk visited Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. The Department of Applied Mathematics participated in the event, during which Senior Lecturer Mykyta Hvozdiev conducted a business team game called “Fun Fishing”. During the event, the students learned about game theory, practiced making decisions under resource constraints, and mastered the selection of an appropriate strategy.
By implementing the principles of Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education, the university is forming an open and barrier-free educational space. This practical event served as a wonderful opportunity to support the students, help them adapt to difficult learning conditions, and demonstrate that applied science can be fascinating. This is an important step in overcoming learning losses and motivating future applicants to pursue higher education.
