The academic and teaching staff of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics celebrates another recognition of its employees’ professional achievements. Lecturers of the Department of Applied Mathematics received Letters of Appreciation from Kharkiv City Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

The awards were presented for their significant contribution to the development of education and science in the city of Kharkiv on the occasions of the 95th anniversary of the university’s founding and the professional holiday — Science Day.

On June 5, 2026, the All-Ukrainian Forum of the Association of Frontline Cities and Communities (AFCC) titled “Science and Scientists of the Ukrainian Frontline: Present and Future” was held at the KhNATOB venue. The participants focused on the most acute challenges facing higher education in wartime conditions: organizing a stable educational process and ensuring first-year student recruitment in frontline regions, particularly in Kharkiv.

Vladyslav Gennadiiovych Parkhomenko, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Applied Mathematics at NURE, took part in the forum as a member of the Council of Young Scientists.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has awarded a Certificate of Honor to the Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Maxim Viktorovych Sіdorov.

This high state award was bestowed upon Maxim Viktorovych “for initiative and perseverance, high professionalism, conscientious performance of official duties, and a significant personal contribution to the development of education and science in Ukraine”. The certificate was signed by the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Oksen Lisovyi.

Bronze at the Futsal Championship of Ukraine

Kiril Pysanchyn, a student from the STSA-25-1 group, secured an honorable 3rd place as a member of the “Dacmy Olimp” team (Cherkasy) in the “Youth Extra League U-19” futsal competition.

The tournament was held across four rounds, each consisting of three games. The first round kicked off on December 8, and the final matches took place on April 30. In total, the teams played 12 matches, following which our student’s team claimed the bronze medals of the championship.
