Scientific Seminar “New Information Operators in Mathematical Modeling”
On November 5, 2026, faculty members and researchers of the Department of Applied Mathematics at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics took part in the scientific seminar “New Information Operators in Mathematical Modeling”. The event was held as part of inter-departmental cooperation at the Department of Information Computer Technologies and Mathematics (ICTM) of the Educational and Scientific Institute “Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
The central event of the seminar was a presentation by Ye.L. Khurdey, Senior Lecturer at the Department of ICTM, titled: “Numerical Integration of Highly Oscillatory Functions of General Form Using Reconstruction Operators Based on Line Data”.
During the session, participants discussed current issues in approximation theory, the application of new information operators to optimize computational processes, and the prospects for implementing the proposed mathematical models in solving applied problems of numerical analysis.
Representatives of the Department of Applied Mathematics at NURE — Yu.I. Pershina, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics, and O.V. Slavik, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Applied Mathematics — actively participated in the discussion of research findings, highlighting the high scientific and methodological level of the presentation and the practical value of the obtained mathematical results.
