On June 18, 2026, a seminar organized by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAQA) titled “Higher Education Quality: Challenges, Solutions, Future” was held at the Dnipro Polytechnic National Technical University.

The event brought together educators to discuss the transformation of the educational environment, the upcoming ESG 2027 European standards, the culture of academic integrity, and the practical application of updated criteria for evaluating educational programs. The seminar also featured a meeting with the “Information Technologies” sectoral expert council.

Summer Activities of the Department of AM

On June 22, 23, and 24, the Department of Applied Mathematics joined the organization of summer practice for 5th–8th-grade students of Lyceum No. 169 in the metro school. Mykyta Hvozdiev, Senior Lecturer of the department, conducted masterclasses on pixel graphics, cryptography, and a mathematical quest. The students learned how a computer perceives images, discovered how to code graphics, mastered several encryption algorithms, and got acquainted with methods for quickly and efficiently finding optimal solutions.

The activities implemented Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education, by providing free access to high-quality mathematical training, particularly for school students from diverse social and educational backgrounds, creating an inclusive space for learning, self-realization, and development. This not only contributed to improving the participants’ academic results and mitigating learning losses but also gave them additional motivation to pursue higher education in the future.
