NURE Acquaintance Day “NEXT GEN DAY: Your Route to the Profession of the Future”
On December 14, 2025, representatives of the Department of Applied Mathematics at NURE took part in the NURE Acquaintance Day event titled “NEXT GEN DAY: Your Route to the Profession of the Future”. The event gathered students from schools in the Shevchenkivskyi district and was dedicated to introducing schoolchildren to the educational opportunities offered by the university.
During the event, our lecturers, Vladyslav Parkhomenko and Mykyta Hvozdiev, conducted mathematical quests and quizzes. They presented the educational programs of the Department of Applied Mathematics, discussed prospects for professional development, and guided prospective students in choosing their future educational path.
The participation of the Department of Applied Mathematics faculty contributed to the popularization of mathematics among young people and strengthened the ties between the university and the local community.
Implementing such educational initiatives exemplifies the realization of Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education, as they provide access to up-to-date knowledge, stimulate interest in scientific disciplines, and help schoolchildren make informed choices regarding their educational trajectory.
